National University Singapore (NUS)
The National University of Singapore is the oldest and largest university in the city state; with the most number of enrollees and curriculum. For 2012 – 2013, NUS is ranked at no. 29 by Times Higher Education; a global university performance table that judges universities around the globe. The university’s Executive MBA also landed the 11th spot in the Financial Time’s 2009 global report. Some of NUS’ most notable alumni include Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Mr. Lee Kuan Yew and Malaysia’s 4th Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad.
The National University of Singapore is in collaboration with some of the best educational institutions in the world. Nanyang Technological University
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is one of the oldest universities in Singapore. It ranked in the 86th spot for 2012-2013 on Times Higher Education University Rankings; a very big leap from the 169th place the previous year. NTU also landed in the 47th spot in the QS World University Rankings for 2012. NTU is in partnership with other institutions around the world such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University in California, and Cornell University; an Ivy-league in New York.

Culinary Institute of America, Singapore
The Culinary Institute of America is in collaboration with Singapore Institute of Technology for the CIA Singapore Bachelor’s degree Program in Culinary Arts Management. Currently, the school is only available for students who graduated from Singapore-based polytechnics. The CIA campus in Singapore is relatively new and is the only campus outside the United States. Some of CIAs most notable alumni include David Burke of David Burke Kitchen in Manhattan, Walter Scheib; executive chef of the White House from 1994 to 2005, celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain, Anne Burrell, Michael Symon, and Cat Cora of Iron Chef America.

Singapore Management University (SMU) is the first private university to receive funding from the local government. It received its accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for its undergraduate and postgraduate business and accounting programs. The university offers Business Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Economics, Accountancy, Information Systems Management, and Law.
